Welcome to Corbitts

Corbitts are dealers, auctioneers and valuers of postage stamps, coins, banknotes, medals, cigarette cards and autographs. We have been established over 30 years and have a large and well-established clientele throughout the world.

We hold regular public stamp auctions, coin auctions, and auctions of cigarette cards, trading cards and autographs in Newcastle upon Tyne in North East England. The catalogues for these auctions are published on this web site roughly one month prior to the auction date.

We accept bids for our stamp auctions, coin auctions and cigarette card auctions in person, by post, phone, fax or email. When an auction catalogue is available you can also submit your bids online using the bid form available in the relevant section of this site.

Auctions
Corbitts hold around four stamp auctions and one auction of coins and other collectables each year. The varied lots at the auctions cater for both collectors and dealers alike.

We attend a number of stamp and collectors' fairs and exhibitions each year and details and dates are published on this site when available. These fairs provide an excellent opportunity to meet us in person and discuss your collecting requirements. We are often able to bring sample lots from up and coming auctions to the fairs so potential buyers can see the lots in advance. We are also able to carry out valuations and accept lots for auction.

Buying and Selling
Our shop in Newcastle upon Tyne is a short walk from Newcastle railway station and we hold a constantly changing stock of stamps together with collecting ephemera such as albums and catalogues. Our knowledgeable staff are always on hand to offer advice and assistance.

If you are considering disposing of a collection Corbitts always welcome the opportunity to discuss the sale of your stamps, coins, cards, or autographs by your preferred method. This can either be by public auction, private treaty sale, or even outright purchase by Corbitts.
